Continuing his studies at LSM PG College, Pithoragarh, Rishendra’s leadership potential shone early - he won the college elections in his very first year, setting the stage for a lifelong commitment to public service and youth empowerment. As he rose through the ranks of the Indian Youth Congress, Rishendra Mahar earned recognition for his energy, organizational skill, and dedication to grassroots leadership. Over the years, he has served as In-Charge of the Youth Congress in Rajasthan and Punjab, where he played a key role in mobilizing young members, strengthening organizational structures, and fostering leadership at the district and state levels.

Today, as the National Secretary of the Indian Youth Congress and In-Charge of Uttar Pradesh Youth Congress (Central), Rishendra continues to champion the cause of India’s youth - inspiring them to take an active role in shaping the nation’s future.
